How We Work
- Once you have decided on a date, we book a 3 – 4 hour slot for us to complete the Testing of your installation
- On the Day, we will initially conduct a visual inspection of all of your system from your main supply to fittings so we will need access to all sockets, switches etc.
- We will then conduct tests of your entire system. a lot of the tests are ‘Dead Tests’ which means that we will need to switch off each circuit at the Circuit breaker whilst we complete the testing of that circuit Breaker.
- Once all of the dead tests are complete, we then move on to the live tests. Some of these, such as the RCD tests are designed to measure how quickly they operate so there will be further short periods that you are without power.
- Once complete, we will make sure that all accessories such as sockets, lights, etc are closed/ put back & working correctly.
- We will then complete the Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) which we will send you electronically within 24 hours of the testing.
